Who We Are

groupThe Aus Chinese Golf Association was incorporated 0n 30th May 2013. The association was the brain child of keen golfers Sheng Shen and Gao Feng. Shen then approached Raymond Tan and Henry to formalise the association. The original name of the association was proposed as WA Chinawind Golf Association (“Chinawind Golf”). The association was formed to promote golf to the Asian community in Perth.

Chinawind Golf had its first inaugural meeting before the tee off for the First Annual Golf Game which was held at The Vines on 16 Dec 2012.

The inaugural meeting resulted in the following interim nominations.

Shen Sheng as President
Gao Feng as Vice President
Henry Pua as Secretary
Raymond Tan as Treasurer
Frank Pua, Stevie Teo  as Committee members.

All nominated appointments were unanimously voted in by the attending members.

On 30th May 2013 the name was finally approved and registered.

The association caters to golfer of Asian descent. However, we also welcome golfers of any nationality and race as long as they enjoy the great game of golf.

The membership currently is about 40 members with members originating from China, Malaysia, Singapore and Aus born Aussies. We are pleased to be a multicultural association that supports golf in Australia.

We hope you will find our association an attractive place to socialise and enjoy the game of golf.
